  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup walnuts chopped (can substitute pecans or macadamia nuts)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 pkg strawberries frozen
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 pint whipped cream or Cool Whip

  1. Mix butter, flour, brown sugar, and nuts lightly and put in a 9×13" pan.
  2. Bake at 375° until golden brown (about 15 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  3. Cool. Put half of mixture in the bottom of the 9×13" pan and reserve half for top of dessert.
